Is GLP-1 medication approved and safe in India?
Yes. Semaglutide and tirzepatide are approved by the CDSCO, India’s drug regulator, and have been prescribed worldwide since 2017. An ALTRcare doctor reviews your full health profile before prescribing. Mild nausea is common in the first weeks and usually settles, and your doctor monitors you throughout.
What does the plan price cover?
Your medication for the full plan length, cold-chain delivery to your door, your doctor consultation and a monthly doctor follow-up, WhatsApp coaching and a 24/7 escalation protocol for side effects. A nutritionist diet chart is included on every tirzepatide plan and on the 3-month semaglutide program. GST is included. Blood tests are optional add-ons from ₹1,499, so you pay only if your doctor asks for one.
Do I need to visit a clinic?
No. The consultation is a video call, the prescription is digital, and medication is delivered anywhere in India. If a blood test is needed, the sample is collected at home.
What if the doctor decides medication is not right for me?
Then you are not prescribed it, and if you have already paid for a plan the plan amount is refunded in full. Your doctor will tell you what they would do instead.
How soon does the medication arrive?
Once your doctor prescribes it, medication is dispatched cold-chain and arrives within 1 to 2 days in most cities.
Can I cancel?
Yes. Cancel within 48 hours of payment for a full refund if nothing has shipped. After that, our 30-day promise covers the service: if you are unhappy with how we look after you, message your care team and we will adjust your plan or refund anything not yet dispatched. Delivered medication cannot be returned, for safety reasons.
