Every GLP-1 is started low and stepped up. Semaglutide begins at 0.25 mg and most people settle between 1 mg and 2.4 mg by month three or four; tirzepatide begins at 2.5 mg and most people settle at 5 to 10 mg. Pens are priced by strength, so your monthly bill climbs as your dose does. The low end of the range assumes two starter months then the higher strength; the high end assumes the higher strength throughout.
The doctor line is the part people forget. Dose changes, nausea in week six, a plateau in month four, a blood test that needs reading: each is a visit or a call, and at a private clinic each one is billed. ALTRcare's price includes those, which is why it is a single number.
